Nabertherm Top 60/L Ceramic Kiln with Controller

The 13A plug-in version of the Top 60. Same 60-litre chamber, same AC590 touch controller — fires to 1,200°C on a standard domestic socket. Ideal for hobby potters who want a bigger chamber without rewiring.

A 60-litre kiln that plugs straight in

The Top 60/L is the trade-off version of the Top 60: you get the full 60-litre chamber, the full AC590 touch controller, and the same build quality — but because it runs from a 13A plug, the maximum temperature tops out at 1,200°C instead of 1,320°C.

For earthenware work, most stoneware, and the vast majority of hobby potters, 1,200°C is more than enough. You're trading off the top end of stoneware and porcelain for not needing an electrician.

If you plan to fire porcelain regularly or do a lot of high-temperature stoneware, choose the full-power Top 60 instead. For everyone else, the 60/L is the practical pick.
