The new Kiln Crafts Daisy pottery wheel in sage green with a white wipe-clean top and splash pan

What's new

Every change came from a customer asking for it.

Yellow push-button release on the Daisy pottery wheel splash pan

Push-button splash pan

Press the button, the pan splits in two. No forcing, no muddy water on the floor.

Smooth white wipe-clean top on the Daisy pottery wheel

Wipe-clean top

One pass with a damp sponge. It adds weight too, so the wheel stays planted.

Enclosed sage green motor cover underneath the Daisy pottery wheel

300W brushless motor

Up from 200W, and it now centres 12.5kg. Fully enclosed, every wire out of sight.

USB-A and USB-C charging ports built into the Daisy pottery wheel

USB charging

USB-A and USB-C, so your tutorial doesn’t die halfway through a pot.

Covered mains socket and foot pedal socket on the Daisy pottery wheel

Sockets where you can reach them

Power and pedal sockets have moved to the back corner. No more crawling underneath to plug in.

Two metal control dials on the front of the Daisy pottery wheel

Two simple dials

On/off, and forward/reverse – so it suits left-handed throwers too.

What's in the box

  • Daisy wheel with 32cm wheelhead
  • Hall-effect foot pedal
  • 10-piece batt system with master batt
  • Rosewood tool kit

Worth knowing

  • It's 40kg and delivered to the kerbside. Have someone around to help carry it in.
  • You'll need a kiln or a local firing service to fire what you make. Clay isn't included.
